Flower Preservation - Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the preservation process take?

For larger items, our current turnaround time is around 12-16 weeks from when we receive your flowers. For smaller items, it varies on the quantity needed.
Please note that this is subject to change at any time.

How soon do you need the flowers?

The sooner the better! We recommend within 3 days of your event in order for the flowers to maintain most of their coloring. Flowers are usually still workable within one week.
Until you can get your flowers to us, we recommend keeping them in the fridge and/or in fresh water.

My flowers are already dried. Can you still use them?

Yes! Although we may not be able to press them due to their delicate state, we can still recommend other ways to preserve your memories.

What happens to my leftover/unused flowers?

We do our best to use as many of your provided flowers as we can. Anything that we do not use will be returned to you if requested.

Will the colors of my flowers change?

Every flower dries and presses differently. In most cases, the flower will darken/fade and sometimes some bruising may occur. We do our best to minimize imperfections, but due to the handmade nature of the items, air bubbles and flower flaws are always possible.

Can sentimental items be added to my keepsake?

We can add almost anything to your resin keepsakes; ribbon, paper, hair, etc. Just send us a message and we can confirm for sure!

How do I take care of my keepsake?

Make sure to clean your items with a soft, clean cloth, taking care not to scratch the surface.

How do I get my flowers to you?

If you are local to Morgan City, LA, we can schedule a drop-off after your order is placed.

If you are not local, you can ship your flowers to us.
We recommend using UPS or Fedex overnight or 1-2 day shipping. You are required to cover shipping costs.
Use a box that is big enough to hold your entire bouquet with a little extra room. Write "fragile", "keep upright", and "perishable" written all over your box! Trim your bouquet stems about 2", dampen a paper towel and cover the stems, then cover the stems with a ziploc bag and secure with a rubber band.
You'll want to make a "nest" in your shipping box of dry paper towels/brown packing paper/ packing peanuts (some type of absorbent material) to support your bouquet during shipment. Place your bouquet in the "nest" and fill in the empty spaces with the remaining packing materials.
